Constructed of flat aluminum flat wire on grayish-green cloth and sewn on a beige cotton backer. These early breast eagles were original meant for EM / NCO to wear on their Waffenrock dress tunics, but they were soon being used by officer’s and NCO’s on the service and field uniforms. Very hard to find. particularly in MINT condition.
