These privately printed notices (done at the family's expense) were handed out at the soldier's memorial service and mailed to friends and relatives. Each has a uniform photo of the soldier along with some information about his service, medals if any, where was born and killed etc.

Unteroffizier Hans Pinsl Aufklarungs (Recon) abteilung. He is in a panzer recon company. Born June 18, 1916. He was killed May 5, 1940. NOTE. This is a nice picture of a panzer NCO in the full early uniform with the wrap around panzer tunic. This tunic has the death head collar tabs. It is rare to find a death card like this with a full panzer uniform picture.
