Germany. Heer Wehrpass, Johannes Klinger

$135.00

Wehrpass is the way the Wehrmacht maintained an individuals personal record, e.g. units assigned, education & training, battles fought, awards, etc.  Constructed of a field-gray card stock binding, 52 pages, featuring a black-and-white photograph of the new recruit, fixed to the Wehrpass by two medal rivets. This Wehrpass was for an Army soldier who volunteered for military service at his local military registration office in Oct 1938 and entered military duty Apr 1940 and it appears he made it all the way to the end of the war.  Spend a few hours using the free language translator on the internet and piece together Johannes Klinger’s military service.
