Measuring 414 mm with the scabbard on, this hewer features a 267 mm nickel plated steel blade, magnetic, with a serrated blade, sharp flat tip with blood grooves (fullers) on both sides and marked "GES. GESCHÜTZT" (Gesetzlich Geschützt) on the reverse ricasso. It retains its crossgraining,
exhibiting light drag scratches near the tip, common to extraction and return to the scabbard, but is overall near MINT. The brown leather washer remains intact. Very minor bubbling on the crossguard and contact marks. The bakelite grip plates are MINT. The pommel shows some lose of nickel plating
and very minor contact marks. The scabbard is magnetic, straight with 99% of its original paint. The frog is in stamped “39” and is MINT.
