Beautiful SA dagger by Herder. The hilt is near MINT. Nickel crossguards, a nickel plated tang nut (never turned) and a perfect unmarked grip. The blade is mirror bright with lots of original cross grain and the normal scabbard drag marks. Also, all of the original letter blacking is still present. The reverse is marked with the RZM logo and marker, “M7 / 49” for Friedrich Herder A.S., Solingen. The scabbard has excellent nickel plated mounts and is straight, dent free with all its original matted brown paint. Finishing off this awesome piece is a MINT hanger stamped with a RZM logo, “M5 / 71” and the Overhoff & Cie stamps. Also included is the D-ring belt loop. Overall Excellent++.
