The hilt is excellent with only minor wear marks. The blade shows some cross grain, but modest age and slight oxidation on the edge. The scabbard is straight and dent free with moderate plating loss on the edges. The hanger is complete, with moderate silver wash loss and the belt hook is slightly out of rig. The portepee shows some wear. Overall it rates an Excellent+.
