HISTORY. The German Army always wanted to save on their training costs by using .22 cal. ammunition in both their rifle and pistol training. In the case of rifle training, they solved the problem by purchasing dedicated, single shot .22 cal. K98 rifles. When it came to the Luger pistol training, used a conversion kit that turned a 9mm Luger into .a 22 cal. with the help of these rare conversion kit.

An all original German Luger 22 Conversion Kit made by Erma. This kit is date stamped 1932, has non-matching serial numbers, but is complete. The case is fully intact with a perfectly functional latch. Hand written on the interior case, this kit had been issued to the 5th Jaeger Infantry, Regiment. # 63. Unique piece of history.
