HISTORY. The Enfield Revolver was a self-extracting British handgun designed and manufactured at the government-owned Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield beginning in 1880. The Enfield No.2 is a .38 caliber revolver, double action, 6 shot, fixed sites, top break actionhat was the standard sidearm of British and Commonwealth forces during WW2. The Enfield No.2 is not the sexist pistol, but it’s an important part of WW2 side arm history.
This one is as nice as they come. With a nice bore, 99% flat black finish, very nice brown checkered wooden grips, clearly stamped “Enfield No.2, Mk1 1940” and a matching brown leather holster.
