Germany. 1942 Mauser Luger

Germany. 1942 Mauser Luger

$2,250.00

HISTORY. In 1942, as Mauser transitioned from making the Luger to making the P-38, they grabbed all the Luger parts they had left and assembled as many pistols as they had parts. This provided some interesting combinations. In the case of this gun, the toggle was made marked “42”, which was normally found on pistols dated 1939-40. However the numbers all match, just a weird variation in the history of the Luger.

This pistol has maintained approximately 96% of its original bluing, with wear on the high edges and muzzle, with thinning on the front strap…slight thinning on the back strap. It comes with a very nice hard shell Luger Holster that is maker stamped “Ryffel & Borns, Hannover” and a fading WaA 330 stamp. Great piece of history.
