HISTORY. The P.38 replaced the production of the time-consuming and expensive P.08. It was the numerically most common pistol of the German Wehrmacht. The production started 1939 at Walther and at Mauser and Spreewerke 1942.
An all matching numbers MINT BYF (Mauser) 1943 P-38 with E/135 Inspection stamps and a matching 1943 dated P-38 Hardshell Holster. Nice bore, 9mm, 98%+ original finish, perfect original grips and a MINT Hardshell Holster stamped ““hft” for Becker & Co, Berlin and date stamped ““43” for 1943. This as good as it gets for a collector Mauser P-38.
