HISTORY. The P.38 replaced the production of the time-consuming and expensive P.08. It was the numerically most common pistol of the German Wehrmacht. The production started 1939 at Walther and at Mauser and Spreewerke 1942.
The nicest CYQ P-38 I’ve ever owned. All matching numbers on a late 1944 production, Serial # 4121x, nice bore, 99% finish, E/88 stamped, a few light contact marks (I’m really getting picky), perfect original grips, E/88 stamped mag. No upgrade needed.
