HISTORY.  The Sauer company is the oldest Germany gun manufacturer still in existence, founded in 1751 in Suhl, Germany. The Sauer 38H or often just H was a small semi-automatic pistol made in Nazi Germany from 1939 until just after the end of World War II . The "H" in the model number is short for "hahn", referring to the internal hammer of the firing mechanism.

An absolutely MINT Sauer 38H, 3ed variation, serial # 369,445, production c. Feb 1943, 100% military finish, nice bore, Eagle over 37 & Eagle over N, 7.35mm / .32 ACP cal, perfect original Sauer checkered plastic grips and a period holster.
