HISTORY. German pistols are well known all round the world. Famous names like DWM, Walther, Mauser and Sauer have produced millions of pistols for both the military and police. However, there are several less well known German makers like Dreyse, Ortgies, Haenel and Kommer that have made high quality civil pistols. These oldies are rarely used for their original purpose today and most of them can be found in museums and collections.
This is a rare Kommer, Model 4, Serial # 17,236 (which makes it one of the last Kommer pistol ever produced in c.1940) with Eagle/N proofs on the slide, frame and chamber, 7.65 / .32 ACP cal, nice bore, 96% finish, original grips are MINT and it fits perfect into period correct holster. For the collector who wants ONE example of all the Axis Pistols, you'd better grab this one.
