Model 1942 Army Single Decal Helmet - This helmet retains a majority of its rough texture dark green finish. The Army decal rates a 90%. The interior has a fine brown leather liner with all fingers intact and with a drawstring. The original chin strap has a makers stamp & dated 1944. Previous own has his name written “Heid” on the liner in ink. Under the rear of the skirt is stamped “3781”, and under the skirt on the left side is stamped “NS64” for Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke, Schwerte. Excellent++
