Constructed with Luftwaffe blue-gray wool / rayon blend with fold down side / rear panels. The panels secure in the up position with two backelite buttons. The insignia utilizes the original Luftwaffe trapezoid. The interior of the cap is fully lined in gray rayon. Well marked, “RPN 0/0454/0041” designating the maker, size “55”, year of production “1944” and what looks like an acceptance stamp. Slightly soiled. Excellent ++.
