Constructed of fiber, covered with quality black leather all tightly stitched.  The interior has a tan colored 7 piece flaps (cut from a single piece of leather) tied together with a leather string for fit adjustments.  The neck is protected by a 4” black leather neck shade.  Additional protection was provided by ear flaps which were integrated into the chin strap (small damage to the chin strap).  Used before and after WW2 by the Italian Army.  Overall condition is excellent.
