Standard wool Army side cap from WW1. However, this one is named with a unit (hard to make it all out). After the war apparently is went to Army surplus and was bought by Warner Brothers Movie Studio to be used in their war movies. Could it have been used in the making of Sergant York with Gary Cooper or maybe Errol Fynn’s movie, The Dawn Patrol. Very interesting item with an interesting history!
