HISTORY. Money plays a big part in any war and it created multiple stories during WW2. Obviously, the wealth of a country directly effects its ability to wage war. However, both Germany and Japan multiplied its countries war waging wealth by pilfering the wealth of its conquered and on top of that they printed new “Invasion” money to be used in the conquered country. By printing new money, they stripped the wealth of population and enriched themselves by creating an endless supply of money to pay their troops and the population for labor and good.

Leave it to the French to have the prettiest bank note during WW2. I believe this note would have been issued by the Vichy French government. Extremely rare and highly collectible. On the reverse, in the lower left hand corner it says, “ The counterfeiter will be punished with forced labor for life”. In near MINT condition.
