HISTORY. The China-Burma-India Theater was a very interesting, yet seldom studied part of WW2. Flying the “Hump”, the Ledo Road and the Flying Tigers were some of the best know operations in the CBI Theater.
This cigarette case is 5 1/2” x 3” was obviously kept in the soldiers back pocket, as it has a slight bow in its structure. Most Likely done by a local artisan in theater. Non-magnetic. Completely operable. Great piece of history.
