Germany. Hitler Youth (HJ) Knife
Germany. Hitler Youth (HJ) Knife
$325.00
A well used Hitler Youth Knife. These were used as utility knives and these one certainly was put to good use. The hilt base is pot metal, but has still retain a majority of the silvering. The grip plates are finely checkered of black Bakelite material and remain in perfect condition.. The Hitler Youth insignia has a chip of the enamel on the left side. The scabbard is straight and dent free, but the paint has been replaced by a fairly even patina. The black leather carrying strap shows some age, and unfortunately the small retainer loop has broken next to the snap. The blade shows significant wear & chips on the edge. (see pictures).
