The axe is approximately 16” in length with an 8” across axe blade and pick. The axe head is embellished with floral designs and a depiction of a fireman’s helmet with crossed axes. The handle shows approximately 98% of it’s original black paint. Their are presentation plaques on both sides of the handle. At the bottom of the handle is a very rare embellished nickle end cap. The axe shows light wear from age and is uncleaned with original patina. Overall it’s in Excellent++ condition.
