All original & all matching German K98 bayonet by Berg & Co. dated 1938. The Bakelite grips have no chips or cracks, a few light contact marks on the hilt back plate. The blade is near mint with only a small amount of the original finish missing. The scabbard is straight with one small dent on the reverse and most of the original finish missing, but no rust. Both the scabbard and blade are marked with serial # 4058i, Berg & Co. and the scabbard marked with the date of 1938. The Frog leather is in good condition, but has a small break in the leather above the Frog stud. Overall Excellent++.
