This early HJ knife shows a lot of original character. The hilt has 90% of its original nickel plating. The grip plates remain in excellent condition, with a perfect enamel insignia and aluminum rivets. The early blade has the makers logo of F.W. Holler on the reverse. It has been lightly sharped, shows age and usage marks. The scabbard is in excellent condition with no dents, but does show wear with about 80% of its original finish. The black leather belt loop is sound, as is the retaining strap. Overall a Excellent+ knife.
