A flawless bakelite grip with crisp detail on the Red Cross Eagle. Very nice pommel, with only a couple of tiny contact marks and 98% of original plating still intact.. The high quality nickel-plated blade is near MINT, with it’s original cross grain still highly visible. The blade does show a small amount of spotting and only the slightest of drag marks. The blade leather buffer pad is a replacement. The blade is unmarked, which is the norm for these daggers. The scabbard is straight with a couple of very small dents near the tip. Overall an Excellent++ dagger.
