One of the most unique items I’ve ever come across. Obviously the 21st Panzer Division was one of the two Panzer Divisions that Rommel commanded in the Afrika Korps. It appears that a high ranking member of the 21st Panzer division was probably rotating out of theater and they took a mint standard K98 bayonet buffed up the scabbard and had the bayonet etched by a locate craftsman. It’s truly a piece of art and history. LTC (Ret) Tom Johnson (Johnson Reference Books) saw it about 5 years ago and tried to buy it. Well, Tom didn’t get it then, but you can have it now!
