This is a Model 1937 Yugoslavia Air Force Dagger. Unlike most Yugoslavian daggers that are made in Yugoslavia and tend to have quality issues, this dagger is German made, marker marked, “E.u.F. Horster, Solingen”. The scabbard is cover with navy blue Moroccan leather which is perfect. The scabbard mounts are aluminum with the top one having a crisp likeness of a Yugoslavian pilot's badge. The pommel is oval with a floral designs and is nickel plated. The matching nickel plated cross guard is in the shape of a propeller. The blade is excellent with only a few very minor blemishes. Easily the nicest Yugoslavian AF Dagger I’ve ever seen. Scabbard is Near MINT. Dagger is Excellent++.
