Constructed of Luftwaffe blue/gray wool/rayon blend. This is a French version that does not have fold down sides / back panels. Scalloped front with a two button closure at the front center. The front center of the cap has a hand embroidered Luftwaffe eagle in bright, silver/aluminum wire threads. The cap has an extended cloth covered forward visor with an internal cardboard stiffener. The interior of the cap is fully lined in gray rayon blend with a front leather sweat band. It appears the cap was stamped, but wear has blurred the print. Nice cap.
