Constructed of solid cast tombac. To its obverse is an eagle with a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons, underneath of which is the forward-facing, disembodied head of Hitler, with the helmeted, profiled head of a soldier to the right, and the kepi-wearing head of an S.A. man to the left. This presumably symbolizes the union of the party and the armed forces. "Reichsparteitag 1935" is embossed to the bottom of the badge. Reverse has a horizontal pinback and a maker mark, “Balmberger, NBG.”.
